On July 20th, 2001, the winners of the annual Woodstock best-kept garden competition were presented with their awards. Joan Hughes won best cottage garden, Peggy Morris won best hidden garden, and Mike Blowfield from the Feathers Hotel won both best floral display and best courtyard. Despite winning, Peggy Morris declined to have her photo taken.
