On February 27, 1958, a demonstration of the Kenwood Manufacturing Co. Ltd. ROTISSERIE Infre-Red Rotary Spit was held in Woking, Surrey. The 25-guinean table model rotary spit is claimed to be the only one made in the country and is capable of cooking and keeping warm vegetables and other dishes in the upper pans and tray below the spit.
