This photograph features Vladimir S. Kemenov, a prominent Soviet personality who served as the Vice-President of the Soviet Academy of Fine Arts. Born in Ukraine in June 1908, he was educated at the University of Moscow and had previously worked as an art gallery director. From 1954 to 1956, Kemenov held the position of Deputy Minister of Culture. The photo was taken by Benoit Gysembergh from Camera Press London.This photograph features Vladimir S.
