This is a portrait study of William Benyon, a British politician who has been serving as the Conservative Member of Parliament for Buckingham since June 1970. Born in 1930, he was educated at the Royal Naval College, Dartmouth. Prior to his political career, Benyon served in the Royal Navy for nine years and worked on the staff of the Governor of Kenya during the Mau Mau emergency.
