William Blyth, 19, of High Street, Thame, England, recently completed a 900-mile cycle ride from Lands End to John O’Groats in order to raise money for a self-help project to create employment for women affected by the Bhopal gas tragedy in India. Accompanied by two back-up helpers, he was able to raise more than 2,000 for the project, which will be used by Oxfam. William is pictured above handing over the cheque to Vera Jefferson, of Oxfam, with the other helpers present.
