On August 22, 2002, John and Bettina Lewington, 9-year-old Joe Goodgame, and Mrs Cattermole were recognized as winners of Kidlington’s In Bloom competition. The Lewingtons were awarded for their front garden, Goodgame for his winning sunflower, and Mrs Cattermole and her husband for their best kept allotment.
