On 3 May 1950, Yorkshire cricketer Bettus AC CC BC visited Southfield School in Oxford. While there, he presented a new set of 1st XI caps to the school’s 1st XI captain Peter Winman. Mr. W. W. Poulter, the managing director of Foster and Co., who donated the caps, and Mr. D. G.
